About Darlene Blythe
Darlene worked for twenty-five years as a paralegal focusing on Bankruptcy (Debtor and Creditor), Litigation, Real Estate, Corporations and Debt Collection before returning to school to finish her Bachelor’s Degree. Darlene’s passion for the law grew from her practice as a paralegal. After 16 years as a paralegal, Darlene experienced a health issue that changed her outlook and approach to life. Following Darlene’s recovery, she enrolled in part-time college courses to earn her Bachelor’s degree while working full time and, along with her husband, raising their two young children. Darlene graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wilmington University earning the Trustee’s Award in General Studies for the highest GPA. A few years later, Darlene was awarded the Helen W. Nies Scholarship through the Federal Circuit Bar Association and a Merit Scholarship to attend law school full time. She graduated Cum Laude from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware earning her Juris Doctorate and was admitted to the Delaware Bar in December 2013. “Words cannot describe how I felt on graduation day! The achievement of a dream and, best part, it was shared with those who were instrumental in helping me achieve that dream: my husband, my parents and my children.” Darlene is an avid reader, loves animals (especially cats) and enjoys spending time with her family.
